Green Smoothie

I just made a green smoothie that I drink quite often, so I thought I would post pictures of the process and share with you the BEST smoothie recipe ever!!  So healthy, sooo yummy!

This is so good! If your kids don’t watch you make it, it is a great way to sneak in a huge portion of greens!
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 3-4 kale leaves (off of the big stem) – OR 2 big handfuls of spinach
  • 1.5 cup H2O OR Almond Milk
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 3/4 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 TBS Chia Seeds (optional)
  1. Blend the first four ingredients well. Works REALLY well in a Vitamix!
  2. Then, add the next two ingredients!
  3. Blend Well!

Make sure to add enough fruit.
You can experiment by adding powders, such as Maca, but you might want to add a little agave if you do that! This one does have some ground chia seeds in it.

    I just discovered your website and I love it! I’m always looking for healthy recipes for my family. I can’t wait to read more. We’ve been drinking Green Smoothies in our house for over a year now and I’ve tried almost every recipe. This is an AWESOME one! I’ve never thought of putting Chia seeds in—I’ll have to try it.
